Job Description

Ridgeview Place Senior Living is looking to add a Cook/Chef to their hard working customer service oriented team!!

**Full Time Day shift available**

The Cook is an essential role in the overall dining experience and services offered to our tenants and guests. The cook/chef prepares and serves meals and snacks according to  menus designed by a clinical dietitian and with our tenants and guests preferences in mind. Must be able to read menus, follow directions for modified diets and follow facility policies and procedures. Culinary schooling and/or culinary experience preferred as well as basic supervisory skills.  Wages to reflect previous experience.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to learn specific food preparation procedures, follow recipes and menus, and operate all equipment in a safe manner
  • Knowledge of assisted living food service is preferred
  • Must be able to maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Must be able to work well with all department staff
  • Must use good communication to interact with tenants to ensure the dining experience is positive, efficient, and provides quality, appetizing meals and dishes throughout the day
