Job Description

Fairway Pines is looking for a Director of Culinary Services to lead their team.

The Director of Culinary Services position requires meeting high standards in the areas of meal preparation, communication, record keeping, and effectively working with staff, tenants, and their families to ensure high quality and nutritional dietary services.

The shift(s) for this position are as follows:

Job Requirements

  •  Practice proper food handling, infection control and safety control methods including hand washing, isolation procedures and fire safety
  • Purchase and check in all food and non food items
  • Maintains inventory
  • Oversee the production and service of food and participate if needed
  • Hires, Orientates, trains and counsels dietary employees
  • Develop work procedures and scheudules
  • Participate in facility leadership meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, quality assurance, care conferences
  • Make daily contact with residents and families
