Job Description

Woodbury Senior Living is looking for an experienced Director of Health Services to lead both their Woodbury Estates and Woodbury Villa nursing departments!

The DHS is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of care and services provided to residents.  They plan, coordinate, and manage the care services in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations.  They maintain quality care that is consistent with Company and regulatory standards.  They assume responsibilities of daily operations in the absence of Housing Director and are involved in the overall selection of nursing employees and development of an organizational culture through the expectation to be a cohesive group expressing a common belief.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
  • Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical, drug screening, background, and reference inquiry
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without, reasonable accomodation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and work cooperatively with tenants, families, employees, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization and community to ensure continuity of care.
  • Must display strong clinical skills and knowledge of the assessment and Care Planning process.
